Tikhoretsk – Tuapse-2 oil pipeline will be completed by the end of this year
The construction of the second branch of the Tikhoretsk – Tuapse oil pipeline will be completed by the end of this year.
The works are mostly carried out in a cut-and-cover mode. Four sections with the total length of 1.3 km were built in the last ten months.
This oil pipeline is intended to raise the volumes of deliveries to the Tuapse oil refinery. The carrying capacity after the commissioning will be equal to 12 million tons of oil a year. According to the press service of the scientific and production association «MOSTOVIK», carrying out the construction works, the track of the new 247-km line will be laid in the same corridor with the existing oil pipeline.
