Turkey says to manufacture its own car, plane and chopper by 2023

Turkish economy minister has said that by the hundredth anniversary of its establishment, the Republic of Turkey would produce its own transportation vehicles.

«Turkey will be a country that makes its own automobile, own plane and own chopper by 2023,» Zafer Caglayan said on the occasion of a dinner in Vienna, the Austrian capital, on September 18.

Caglayan stated that Austrian companies were much eager than other countries' companies in terms of making investments in Turkey.

Caglayan also stated that those Austrian firms came to Turkey not only to build industry production centers, but also to establish operation centers in the country.
