Irish company to search for oil and gas in Northern Bulgaria

Moesia Oil and Gas company has received the necessary government permits to study the potential sources of oil and gas in Northern Bulgaria.

The company will invest € 9.3 million over five years in four sites: Block 1-10 Botevo (Vratsa and Montana provinces), Block 1-5 Devetaki (Lovech, Pleven, and Gabrovo provinces), Block 7-1 Tyrnak (Pleven and Vratsa provinces) and Block 01.09 Miziya.

The company will also invest € 125,000 in environment preservation.
