Minister of Health: Romania can be a destination for dental services, as well as cardiac plastic and surgery

More and more people from abroad are interested in dental treatment in Romania, as well as showing an increasing interest in having plastic surgery and cardiac surgery in the country, said the Romanian Minister of Health Vasile Cepoi.

The Health Ministry will certify the level of quality of spa services and develop a quality management system, the minister also said.

«We have a big potential of internationally recognized specialists that we don’t exploit. Even if we have over 80 spas, the exports of spa services are very low compared to the potential», – said Cepoi.

Minister of Regional Development and Tourism Eduard Hellvig said the Ministry he runs will promote health tourism, which he considers as having potential.
