Ukraine could remain without influenza vaccines

Ukraine risks to remain without influenza vaccines and other medicines, as the Ministry of Justice did not approve the MoH from 07.09.2012, № 705 «On approval of the register of wholesale prices for drugs and medical devices, the procedure of including in it changes and application forms on the declaration of change wholesale prices of medicines and medical devices.»

Because of these actions until the Ministry of Justice can not be registered on the price of flu vaccine and other medications. This means that in Ukraine, not only can not receive and sell new products, but you can not sell the ones that are already registered, because you can not set the appropriate price.

Recall the fall expected in Ukraine flu outbreak A/Kaliforniya/7/2009 (H1N1), A/Viktoriya/361/2011 (H3N2), B/Viskonsin/1/2010. The only effective method of protection against influenza is vaccination.

According to the Order, the Ministry of 16.09.2011 № 595, vaccinations recommended by the military, construction workers, employees of the State Automobile Inspection of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the medical staff, as well as those who provide care at home with the flu, children from six months of age, persons aged over 60 years , labor collectives of enterprises, institutions, organizations, women who are likely to be in the pregnancy during the influenza epidemic, as well as pregnant women.
