Russia has compiled black list of Bulgarian hotels

Bulgarian Deputy Minister of Economy, Energy and Tourism, responsible for tourism, Mr. Ivo Marinov said, the Russian Agency for Tourism had compiled a black list, including 22 Bulgarian hotels.

The list includes hotels which made Russian tourists pay iteratively for stay after the «Cherry Tour» operator had got bankrupt.

Ivo Marinov has expressed perplexity on the issue, since Russian tourists were supposed to get compensated for expenditures by insurance companies after they returned to Russia. After Cherry Tour’s bankruptcy Russian tourists experienced similar problems in Croatia and in Montenegro, but for reasons unknown their hotels were not put on the black list.
