Sunny Beach Hoteliers are against decision to leave stalls at the resort
Hoteliers of the Sunny Beach Union of Owners are insisting that all temporary facilities at the resort’s territory should be demolished, said the Union’s chairwoman Elena Ivanova.
A letter with this demand was directed to Prime Minister of Bulgaria Boyko Borisov and to Chairperson of the National Assembly Tsetska Tsacheva.
Beach stalls with underwear, socks and similar product must be eradicated for good, says the letter, written by representatives of the Union when the National Assembly deputies decided to leave all temporary facilities after discussing the Spatial Planning Act.
The letter emphasizes that the national resorts’ hoteliers are among the largest investors of Bulgarian tourism and form the bulk of tax revenues in respective communities. And that’s why they should protect their own interests and the interests of the state as tax recipient. Hoteliers warned that they are ready to other forms of protest.
