Romanian beaches to be winterized
In October and November, the Black Sea Basin Directorate in Dobruja will start preparing the beaches for winter. This work consists of installing panels to prevent wind erosion.
In the framework of a study prepared by the Romanian National Institute for Marine Research and Development «Grigore Antipa», they will determine beach sections of Mamaia, Eforie, Costineşti, Netun and Jupiter resorts that need clean-up and protection with panels.
