Bulgaria and Romania to develop internal river navigation

Bulgarian Minister of Transport Ivaylo Moskovski, Minister of Regional Development Lilyana Pavlova and Romanian Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Ovidiu Silagy signed in Sofia a memorandum for creating a joint Bulgarian-Romanian inter-institutional committee for the sustainable development of internal river navigation in the common portion of the Danube River.

The Bulgarian-Romanian committee will serve the cooperation between the two countries in joint projects for improving navigation in the border waters of the river and the connections between the two countries along the Danube.
