More than 100 ths tourists visited Byala, Bulgaria in summer 2012

A total of 102,940 Bulgarian and foreign citizens have visited Byala, Bulgaria from July to August 2012.

Compared with last year, growth in the number of tourists has been 10%. The number of Bulgarian citizens having visited Byala for rest, has grown on average by 8%, while foreign tourists have comprised 70% of the total and there have been 10% more of them, compared to summer 2011.

Most foreign tourists were from Russia, Ukraine, Poland, Romania, and Scandinavian countries.

In 2012 summer season, tax revenue from tourism has fallen by 7%, compared to 2011 season.
