Cooldown coming to Ukraine next week

A gradual decrease in temperature is expected in Ukraine from October 23, Anatoliy Prokopenko, the deputy director of the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center of the Emergency Ministry, briefed the press on October 15.

«Starting October 23, we expect a slight gradual drop in temperature. The northern and eastern regions may see not just freezing, but yet even frost, that is from 0 to - 4 degrees. The daily temperature will be only +2+8, and only in the South - +7+13, in Crimea and Transcarpathia - +10+17,» said Prokopenko.

According to him, by the end of the month the temperature will reach the values that meet the standards for a given period of time.

As reported, on October 1 Prokopenko said that the temperature at the end of September - beginning of October was 3-7 degrees above normal for this time.
