Actual wages in Moldova increased by 5.7%

In August 2012, the average salary in Moldova amounted to 3,503.6 lei - 10.4% increase compared to the same period last year.

This was reported on Monday by the National Bureau of Statistics. Given the increase of prices, wages grew by 5.7%.

In August average salary in the public sector reached 2,905.1 lei (15.7% increase compared to August 2011). In the real sector, it totaled 3,753.7 lei (increase of 8.8% compared to August 2011).
