Kazakhstan to sign freight transportation agreement for Baku-Tbilisi-Kars railway
An agreement on the transportation of Kazakh goods using the Baku-Tbilisi-Kars railway between Azerbaijan, Georgia, Turkey and Kazakhstan is planned to be signed by the end of this year, the Kazakh Ambassador to Azerbaijan Serik Primbetov told journalists on October 17, Trend reports.
According to the ambassador the agreement is planned to be signed by transport ministers of the four countries. The drawing up of the document is currently in progress with the volumes of freight transportation being specified.
Construction work of the Baku-Tbilisi-Kars railway will be completed in the second half of 2013.
