Georgia to become attractive for Abkhazia and South Ossetia
Paata Zakareishvili, a notable political analyst and specialist for settling conflicts and a candidate for Minister for Reintegration of Georgia, said that the new government will use only peaceful means to make Georgia an attractive democratic state for Abkhazia and South Ossetia.
Zakareishvili believes that the idea will be realized in 3-4 years. He acknowledges the responsibility of Georgia for conflicts in the past. The official reminded that the authoritarian regime of President Mikheil Saakashvili was coming to an end.
The candidate for minister believes that Russia is not interested in democratization of Georgia. He said that the Russian military replaced Abkhazians at border posts on September 29 at the Georgian border.
