Romania keeps ranking 72nd on ease of doing business
Romania comes the 72nd among the economies ranked on their ease of doing business, in an index listing 185 countries analyzed in the Doing Business report: 2013 drawn up by the World Bank Group and launched in Washington.
This ranking on the ease of doing business index points to how conducive the regulatory environment is to the starting and operation of a local firm. The index averages the country's percentile rankings on 10 topics, made up of a variety of indicators, giving equal weight to each topic, and.rankings for all economies are benchmarked to June 2012.
Romania made starting a business easier through reducing the required time to get a fiscal certification from the Fiscal Administration Agency, and consolidating the legal framework of the guaranteed transactions automatically allowing the expansion of the real guarantees to products and revenues, and replacing the additional guarantees.
In Romania, you need ten days only to set up a company, country ranking the 68th by the starting a business criterion, while it comes the 129th by dealing with construction permits and the 168th by getting electricity.
