Sochi plans to buy more than 100 buses equipped for disabled

The plans for November include the purchase of 108 high-capacity city buses, fit with all devices to make them convenient for use by disabled people. This was informed by Anatoliy Pakhomov, Sochi Major, at the press conference on October 22.

Such purchase will be conducted in the framework of the regional target program «Ensuring of Olympic facilities’ construction and development of Sochi city as the mountain climate and balneotherapeutic health resort».

«Currently the city and suburban routes of Sochi city have 13 MAZ-103 and MAZ-106 buses, equipped with mechanical access ramps. These buses have respective indications and places for wheelchairs’ fastening», – A. Pakhomov has noted.
