For 9 months of 2012 Illichivsk port capital investments amounted to 142 million hryvnya

This information has been announced by Alexander Grigorashenko, State Enterprise «Illichivsk Sea Commercial Port» Manager, at his press conference.

In 2012 the fleet of enterprise’s handling equipment was completed with two Sennebogen crane-manipulators for general and bulked cargos, and a new Konecranes wharf container re-loader at the port’s dock No 1.

The port has purchased electromagnets for portal cranes and 5 tractors for cargo operations. In addition to that, the enterprise has purchased reinforced-concrete solids to protect bales with bulk cargos, machinery for re-equipment of transformer substations, and other devices.

According to the port’s Manager, the priority plans of the enterprise for 2013 include the following: purchase of 6 bucket loaders; modernization of the fourth pair of cranes «Sokol» and «Condor»; purchase of two «Sokol» portal cranes; and dredging operations at the port’s approach channel.
