Russian Emergency Ministry’s employees took part in international exercises in Abkhazia
Command and mapping training exercises on elimination of traffic accidents aimed at practicing interaction of Russian and Abkhazian rescuers are completed in the Republic of Abkhazia.
According to the legend of the exercises a traffic accident occurred in the territory of Gargsky district in Abkhazia, setting car on fire and overturning a bus with Russian tourists in a canyon.
The exercises included four stages which consistently practiced matters of organizing interaction of forces and facilities during emergency rescue operations, search and evacuation of the injured in the canyon and rendering emergency help in a mobile hospital of the Emergency Ministry of Russia.
The command and mapping exercises involved task forces of South Regional Center of the Emergency Ministry, Krasnodar territory main Office, specialists of South Regional Search-and-Rescue Team, fire rescue units and units of traffic police, traffic inspectorate, Ministry of Internal Affairs and emergency teams of Abkhazia.
