Over half a million Russian tourists will visit Bulgaria by the end of 2012
By the end of the year Bulgaria will be visited by over half a million Russian tourists. Up to date the Bulgarian Embassy to Moscow alone has issued some 400 thousand visas and prognoses are that by the end of the year their number would go beyond 440 thousand.
The number of Russians having visited Bulgaria in 2012 so far is more than half a million. According to information from the Embassy in Moscow the interest towards Bulgaria there is 30% up for the past year. The reason is the alleviated visa regime for guests from Russia.
