Second Turkish NPP will appear in Sinop

Four countries have already expressed willingness to construct a nuclear power plant in the Black Sea city of Sinop: Japan, South Korea, China and Canada.

Currently, the Russian State Atomic Energy Corporation «Rosatom» is building the first Turkish nuclear power plant in Akkuyu, in the southern province of Mersin.

The exact location of the third nuclear power plant is still unknown. There are suggestions, it will be built in İğneada on the Black Sea. Among possible candidates for constructing the third Turkish NPP are France and the United States.
