Romanian Tuzla airport will be open to international traffic
According to the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure project, Tuzla airport will be open to international passenger and cargo flights. Border crossing points and customs post will be established for this purpose.
These measures are taken at the request of regional air companies, owners and managers of the airport, which holds a «Certificate of airfield authorization », issued by Romanian Civil Aeronautical Authority.
In 2010, the airport traffic was 15,062 passengers, in 2011 - 13 948 passengers.
Regional Air Services SRL has the right to conduct helicopter flights over the sea.
Due to its geographical position, Tuzla airport provides optimum operation of aircraft engaged in flights over the Black Sea.
