Turkey to promote Black Sea region for Arab tourists
Turkish Culture & Tourism Minister Ertugrul Gunay on November 2 met with the head of the Arab League tourism organization, Bandar Fahad al-Fehaid, in the Turkish capital, Ankara.
Speaking to reporters after their meeting, Gunay said Turkey hosted a very important meeting last year in Bursa with the participation of representatives from the Arab world, adding that a similar meeting was planned to be held this year in Istanbul to promote Turkey's riches.
Gunay also said he placed special importance to draw Arab tourists to Turkey's Black Sea region.
Al-Fehaid, on his part, said that Arab countries were willing to boost relations in tourism, adding that diplomatic tourism offices should be opened in Istanbul and Bursa.
