Georgia to continue hydropower stations construction to avoid the energy sector collapse
Kakha Kaladze, Georgian Minister of Energy and Natural Resources, has announced that the energy sector of the country might fail to support the continuation of country’s economic growth.
Therefore, the construction of 15 hydropower stations, which has been already commenced, will be continued. The Government will also not refuse from construction of large hydropower stations, although the Ivanishvili team had earlier called them «inexpedient».
«However, all agreements and contracts, executed by the previous Government, will be reconsidered», - Kaladze has underlined.
