New chemical tanker baptized at Constanta shipyard
On November 3 the new «Zephyr» tanker was baptized at the Constanta shipyard.
The vessel is 180 m long and 32.2 m wide and is the 20th chemical carrier in the series of 41000 t deadweight vessels, built in Constanta.
The vessel has been ordered by the Italian company «Calisa».
Another 41000 t deadweight chemical carrier is now under construction in Constanta. The shipyard is also at the assembly stage of two «river-sea» ro-ro vessels. They have been ordered by a Dutch company.
