Price of obligatory medical insurance policy in Moldova to grow in 2013
The cost of policy of obligatory medical insurance for 2013 will grow by 336 lei, reaching 3,318 lei the next year, in line with the Law on Mandatory Health Insurances, passed by the Moldovan Parliament.
According to the National Health Insurance Company (NHIC), the document envisages discounts of 50% and 70% for those who purchase the policy of obligatory medical insurance ahead of time.
Owners of private companies, tenants and renters, as well as holders of entrepreneurial licenses will benefit from the 50% discount during three months after the law enters into force. By October 31, 2013, owners of farmlands will benefit from a 75% discount for the policy of obligatory medical insurance.
