Ukraine, Azerbaijan defense ministries to sign bilateral cooperation plan for 2013

The defense ministers of Ukraine and Azerbaijan, Dmytro Salamatin and Colonel General Safar Abiyev, will sign a plan of measures on bilateral cooperation in 2013.

The document is to be signed during the visit of the Ukrainian military delegation to Azerbaijan, which began on November 12 and will last until November 13, UKRINFORM reported, citing the press service of the Ukrainian Defense Ministry.

The question of the development of bilateral defense cooperation will be discussed during Ukrainian Defense Minister Dmytro Salamatin's visit to Azerbaijan.

 «The sides are planning to sign a plan of measures on bilateral cooperation for 2013 between the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine,» reads the statement.

It is also expected that Salamatin will hold working meetings with Azerbaijan President Ilham Aliyev and Azerbaijan Prime Minister Artur Rasizade.
