EU decides whether to include Hezbollah in terrorist list
The European Union will consider whether to include the Lebanese Shia group Hezbollah in its list of terrorist organizations after taking as a key factor to that end the results of the ban investigation of the suicidal bomb attack at Burgas Airport.
The July attack took the lives of five Israeli tourists and one Bulgarian national, the Jerusalem Post informs, quoting a statement of the Ambassador of France to Israel Christoffe Bigot.
Our British friends would prefer to include the Hezbollah military wing in the EU list of terrorists, but the basic factor for the decision would be the outcome of the investigation in Bulgaria, Ambassador Bigot said in a telephone interview for the paper. Representatives of American and Israeli intelligence services maintain that the bomb attack was a joint operation of Iran and Hezbollah.
