Fuel prices slightly down in Moldova

Following the example of Lukoil and Rompetrol Moldova, almost all the Moldovan gas-filling stations decreased the prices on gasoline and diesel oil by 0.2-0.45 lei per liter.

Thus, the A-95 gasoline went down in value to 17.15 lei, whereas the diesel oil to 16.15 lei. Thus, the current prices stand at the level of September 2012.

Oil products importers reason this decrease by the cheapening of oil products on the international markets, as well as on the PLATTS market.

The price on liquefied gas has remained at the level of 8.9 lei per liter.

The last price growth on gasoline and diesel oil was recorded in mid-September when the companies increased them by 0.5 lei per liter, in spite of the fact that the National Energy Regulatory Agency and the Government frowned at this decision.

Infotag’s dossier: In early 2012, a liter of A-95 gasoline made 16.45 lei, a liter of diesel oil – 15.65 lei and a liter of liquefied gas – 8.17 lei.
