Turkish industrial turnover and new order indices up in September

Industrial turnover and new order indices increased 4.9 percent in September 2012 compared to September 2011.

TurkStat, Turkey's statistical authority, announced the results of industry production survey on November 13.

In the sub sectors level of industry; mining & quarrying index decreased 1 percent, and manufacturing index increased 5.1 percent in September 2012 compared to September 2011.

In sub sectors of manufacturing industry; the highest increase was realized in manufacture of tobacco products.
