Turkish petroleum corp. declares 983 mln TL profit
Tupras, Turkish Petroleum Refineries Corp., declared 983 million Turkish Lira (TL) net profit in the first nine months of 2012. (one USD equals 1.804 TL)
Tupras stated on November 14 that it increased sales five percent and gained 983 million TL net profit in the first nine months of 2012.
Tupras sold 19 million tons of products in the first nine months, and increased its income 18.4 percent when compared to the same period of 2011.
Tupras is Turkey's largest industrial enterprise with 28.1 million tons of crude processing capacity. Tupras owns 59 percent of the total petroleum products storage capacity in Turkey, composing of 1.7 thousand tons of crude oil, 1.3 million tons of white product and 0.9 million tons of black product.
