Synthetic drugs are getting more popular in Bulgaria

The use of more traditional drugs like heroin in Bulgaria has been decreasing, while the use of stimulants and synthetic drugs increases, statistics show.

Experts expect that the trend of increasing use of synthetic drugs would continue. A record amount of synthetic cannabinoids that replace natural cannabis has been seized during the past year in Bulgaria by the authorities.
