Turkey's central govt budget deficit TRY4.4 bln

Turkey's central government budget deficit was 4.4 billion Turkish lira in October 2012. (One USD equals 1.808 TL)

Turkish Finance Ministry announced budget figures for October 2012 and the period between January and October 2012.

Accordingly, the government budget deficit was 18.8 billion TL in the period between January and October 2012.

Budget incomes rose by 20.8 percent to 27.3 billion TL and expenses also increased by 29.2 percent to 31.7 billion TL in October 2012 compared to the same month of the last year.

Budget incomes were up by 11.2 percent to 271 billion TL and expenses rose by 18.1 percent to 289.8 billion TL year-on-year in the period between January and October 2012.
