Biggest ski jump opens in Rasnov, Romania, ahead of European Youth Winter Olympic Festival

The biggest ski jump in Romania was recently opened in Rasnov, after investments of EUR 15 million.

It is located in a complex on Valea Carbunari, one of the sports bases where the European Youth Winter Olympic Festival will take place next year. Romania then expects over 100,000 foreign tourists for this festival, as well as over 1,500 participants from all over Europe.

The same sports center already has several ski jumps which were used for the summer jumping event this year. The most recent addition is a K90 jump – 70 meters.
