National encyclopedia in Romania is completed

Development of the Romanian national encyclopedia, covering a huge range of issues from geography and geology and up to culture and arts, has been completed.

Its development was started back in 2009, and on November 20, 2012 the Romanian Academy launches a new complete version of this encyclopedia.

The list of project participants has included a number of eminent Romanian and international scientists from various fields – approximately 300 people from 75 institutes have participated in the development of this encyclopedia.
