Bulgaria marks 10th anniversary of NATO Prague summit

Bulgaria was invited to join the most powerful military and political alliance thanks to the efforts of a whole generation of Bulgarian politicians and experts, Foreign Minister Nikolay Mladenov said on the occasion of the 10th anniversary since this country was invited to join NATO.

On November 22 Bulgaria is ready to share its experience with the countries from the western Balkans, the minister added. Bulgaria's accession to NATO helped strengthen its security, NATO Secretary General Anders Fogh Rasmussen said about the 10th anniversary from the Prague Summit.
