Antoaneta Stefanova qualifies for World Chess Championships Women final
Bulgarian Grand Chess Master Antoaneta Stefanova has qualified for the final of the World Chess Championships Women under the knock-out system.
The event is underway in Khanty-Mansiysk, Russia. Stefanova with the black pieces drew Dronovalli Harika of India at the 36th move thus winning the semifinal in two games and is now looking forward to the final when she plays versus the winner in the match between Chinese Ju Wenjun and Ukrainian Ushenina.
The final will include four games under the classical rules of FIDE and in the case of a draw, a tiebreak shall be played to single out the world champion.
