Gelendzhik named the best Russian Black Sea coast resort for the third time

Results of the regional tourism industry competition «Resort Olympus 2012» have been announced in Krasnodar.

As Krasnodar Krai Ministry of Resorts and Tourism press service reports, Gelendzhik has become the competition winner among the Black Sea coast resorts, Yeyskydistrict – among resorts of the Sea of Azov, and Krasnaya Polyana (Sochi) has been named the best mountain resort of the Krai.

According to the competition results, the best sanatorium of the year is «Predgorye Kavkaza» [«Foothills of the Caucasus»] in Goryachy Klyuch, the best children's health resort - health-improving complex «Signal» in Gelendzhik.

Hotel «Sputnik» has been named the best among 3-star hotels, hotel «Parus» – among 4-star ones, and «Rodina» sanatorium has won the first place among 5-star hotels. All hotels are located in Sochi.

Among municipal beaches the winner is Novorossiysk beach «Sudzhukskaya spit».
