Four bridges in Tsentralny, Khostinsky and Adlersky districts of Sochi are being renovated

Three of the bridges (Matsestinsky, Vereshaginsky and across the river Sochi near the «Riviera») are monuments of architecture.

The money for the repair was allocated from the federal budget as preparation for the Sochi Olympics.

They promise to complete most of the work by mid-2013. The last bridge will be ready in September.

Currently, the works have just begun. Repairers do not plan to completely block the road for the period of the bridges’ restoration. Two lanes will remain free for vehicle movement. The most complex works will be conducted at night.
