Turkey won't participate in South Steam pipeline's construction
So far Turkey is not expected to participate in the South Stream gas pipeline's construction, Russian Energy Minister Alexander Novak says.
The South Stream is a proposed gas pipeline to transport Russian natural gas under the Black Sea to Bulgaria and on to Greece, Italy and Austria. The project is seen as a rival to the planned Nabucco pipeline. The start of construction is planned for December 2012, with the first commercial deliveries in late 2015.
