Nikolai Mladenov spoke at the Euro-Atlantic partnership Council

Trust is the key word in the relations between NATO and its partners. The best way it can be reached is for all partners to join the process of decision making, said Bulgarian Foreign Minister Nikolai Mladenov in his address to the Council for Euro-Atlantic partnership of the Alliance.

Pointing to the need of development of all formats of partnership, Bulgaria’s Foreign Minister commented that one of the most important of them is the partnership with the EU. “Bilateral relations should not hamper cooperation, especially when talking of such important for us regions like the Mediterranean.

The successful coping with common challenges to security impose the development and deepening of partnership with Russia, Minister Mladenov pointed out at the previously held council NATO-Russia.
