Chisinau International Airport passenger traffic growth reached nearly 16%

In January-November 2012 total passenger traffic of Chisinau International Airport has increased by 15.93% compared to the same period in 2011, having reached 1.1 million people.

For 11 months of 2012, most popular destinations have been: Moscow (25.85%), Istanbul (12.18%), Verona (6.48%), Munich (5.70%), Bucharest (4.45%), Rome (4.37%) and Milan (4.25%).

The highest growth in passenger traffic in November was recorded to the following destinations: Verona (+61.78%), Bucharest (+43.50%), Paris (+37.60%), Istanbul (+37.5%), Kyiv(+30.86%) and Moscow (+16 %).

Today, 15 airlines operate flights out of the airport to 23 destinations around the world. Among the partners are 14 foreign airlines and 4 national carriers.
