Bulgaria will increase the minimum pension to EUR 75 in 2013
The minimum pension in Bulgaria in 2013 will be increased by € 2,5 - to € 75.
Bulgaria’s National Assembly took this decision on December 5.
Currently the minimum pension in Bulgaria is 145 leva (€ 72,5). Opposition and independent deputies offered to raise pensions from January 1, not April 1. In addition, they demanded to increase the minimum pension up to 270 leva (135 Euros). But the majority did not favour these proposals.
