Bulgaria cancels total ban on smoking in restaurants

New amendment to the Law on health has been adopted, which will take effect after the New Year: it be allowed to smoke in public catering places after 10 p.m.

The deputies argued in favour of the amendment because the nature of nightlife places allows using tobacco products.

The owners are not happy with the law’s wording. They propose to return to the old regime, which provided for separate halls for smokers. However, this option is not present in the law.
