International specialized operation Shock-2 kicks off

An International specialized operation has been launched under the code name Shock-2. It is carried out by Bulgaria, Italy and Europol with the aim to find out and detain persons under a European arrest warrant.

The start of the operation was announced by Bulgarian Voce-premier and Minister of the Interior Tsvetan Tsvetanov. Minister Tsvetanov specified that the operation is run on the territory of Sofia, Stara Zagora, Dobrich, Kyustendil, Blagoevgrad, Pazardjik, Veliko Tarnovo as well as on the territory of Italy. Thirty five persons have been detained so far in both countries. The operation and investigation procedures are still on, Minister Tsvetan Tsvetanov informed.
