Bulgaria and African countries will boost trade and economic ties

President Rossen Plevneliev met with the ambassadors of African countries in Bulgaria. The sides agreed that the state of trade and economic relations between Bulgaria and African countries is below their potential.

Major spheres for cooperation are: infrastructure projects that Bulgarian construction companies could put through, water management and irrigation systems, agriculture and food industry, medicine and pharmaceuticals, forestry, cultural exchange and tourism.
