Sofia's Earth and Man Museum displays minerals and gems for Christmas
From December 14 through the 20 the Sofia-based museum Earth and Man launches a Christmas exhibition of minerals and gems.
Taking part are more than 50 companies and collectors, authors of jewelry, icons paintings and souvenirs. Visitors can see and buy treated gems of all kinds as well as other decorative stones and objects made out of them. The geology corner of the exposition organizes a contest for children with the aim of teaching them to recognize precious and semi-precious stones.
