Several streets of Novorossiysk will be renamed for New Year holidays

Novorossiysk city authorities will make their contribution to creating the festive mood among city dwellers. On December 18 five main streets of the city will be renamed for the New Year holidays Nineth chanel, reports.

Not permanently, of course. Familiar names will be changed only for the period of the New Year holidays. The Soviets street will become Holiday lights street, Engels street will be renamed Snowmen street, and Lenin lane will turn into Santa Clauses lane. During all holidays city folks will go not along Myskhakskoye highway but along Snowflakes street, and will walk along the Gift street instead of Novorossiysk Republic street. Signs with new names will appear on every 10th house and at intersections.
