Sochi got a twin city

The list of the Russian resort twin cities was supplemented with a globally known SPA-resort Baden-Baden, Sochi 24 reports.

The agreement was signed on December 15 by Sochi Mayor Anatoliy Pakhomov and Baden-Baden Mayor Wolfgang Gerstner.

An exchange program for schoolchildren and sportsmen will start working in the nearest future in the framework of the agreement between Russian and German resorts.

The list of Sochi twin cities includes Cheltenham (Great Britain), Menton (France), Rimini (Italy), Espoo (Finland), Long Beach (the USA), Trabzon (Turkey), Pärnu (Estonia), and Weihai (China).
