Bulgaria joined the VIKING project

In December 2012 the list of the VIKING project participants, consisting of the railways of Ukraine, Republic of Belarus, and the Lithuanian Republic, was completed with «BZhD-Cargo» (Bulgaria).

According to kmu.gov.ua the accession of the new participant of the VIKING project took place at the meeting, conducted on December 19, 2012 in Kyiv.

The meeting also touched the issues of prolongation for 2013 of tariffs for transit transportation of containers by the VIKING train, valid in 2012, and further expansion of geography of its work in the Black Sea – Baltic Sea direction.
