40% of Bulgarians’ expenses made on food
The national Statistical Institute issued figures on the incomes of the Bulgarians in the third trimester of 2012.
Labor remuneration accounts for half of the revenues. About 30 percent of incomes are formed by retirement pensions only 9 percent – by self employment; 3.7 percent – from social allowances and 6.7 percent – from other kinds of revenues. About 40 percent of households’ expenses have gone for food, alcohol and tobacco. Dwelling maintenance absorbs 18 percent of people’s incomes.
